CRI provides data analysis and translation for the CHECK team at UIC. CHECK is a care coordination program for kids with complex medical issues. CHECK's mission is to improve the coordination of health care for children and young adults with chronic conditions by engaging and collaborating with them, their families, and their communities to provide tailored disease specific programs and to reduce their barriers to accessing medical, behavioral, and social services. With the help of CRI, CHECK uses innovative technology to provide patients with educational interactive health materials that are disease specific. These interventions are a key component to improving patient care management.
